Brazilian Famous Eltonites

Born Edson Arantes Do Nascimento, Pelé, is known as a legend and the best soccer player to ever play the game. He was raised in a very poor family in Tres Coracos. Pelé began playing soccer for a local minor-league club when he was a teenager. In 1958, he helped Brazil win its first World Cup victory. His performance in the finals—scoring two goals—made him an international sensation. He also played for the professional Brazilian team Santos from 1956 to 1974 and scored more than 1,000 goals during his time with the club. Apart from Brazilian music, Pelé has a special affection for Elton John. In 2000 Pelé met Elton at the gala party to mark the closure of Wembley, where the footballer scored the 'last goal' before the demolition of the old stadium. 'I told him that I really liked his song 'Nikita' - when we got back to the hotel he sang it on the piano for me.'

Ana Beatriz Barros was born in Itabira, a tiny town in Brazil, on May 29, 1982. Barros is a Brazilian model known for her work with Guess?, Bebe, Victoria's Secret, Chanel cosmetics, and Jennifer Lopez's JLo fashion line. Barros was encouraged by the Rio Elite office to participate in the Elite Model Look 1996, which she won. Barros subsequently competed for international Elite Model Look and placed second worldwide. She was pictured at the An Enduring Vision 2005 benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
